If you’ve ever read any of my recipes before, then you know I’m all about making yummy, fun food without it taking forever. I use shortcuts whenever I can, like cake mixes when I’m baking and now Kraft Fresh Take when I’m cooking! I was in a particularly autumn-like mood the other night after shopping for the kids’ Halloween costumes, so I decided to create my own Halloween Mummy Recipe using Kraft Fresh Take, chicken breast strips, and crescent rolls. It was so easy, the mummies came out really cute, and both of my boys loved them—a rare and welcome occurrence at our dinner table. I will definitely be making these again for a Halloween event in the future!
First, we stopped by Walmart to pick up what we needed—just three items! I grabbed some original Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, some Chicken Breast strips (already sliced, super easy), and the Kraft Fresh Take. There is a coupon for $1 off Fresh Take right now. Print it here: Coupons. If you’re not familiar with Fresh Take, it’s found next to the shredded cheese, and it’s got all the seasoning and cheese you need to make an awesome main dish. Just choose your flavor and your meat and go! We chose the Southwest Three Cheese blend, but I think any of the flavors would have worked great for this dish.
