Ever wanted to try a cinnamon roll recipe but just felt like it was way too much trouble? All that kneading dough and waiting for it to rise takes forever. But, you can make fun little cinnamon roll bites in just minutes using only 4 ingredients, with no kneading or waiting around.
I originally came across this idea on Pinterest. And it really is that simple. All you need is
- a can of crescent rolls,
- 2 Tbsp melted butter,
- cinnamon to taste,
- brown sugar to taste.
Just take 4 of the crescent rolls, pinch the seams together and roll them out flat. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle on as much brown sugar and cinnamon as you’d like. Roll up the dough into a log, and cut into 8 pieces. Repeat for the other 4 crescent rolls in the can. Put your mini cinnamon rolls into the cups of a greased mini muffin tin, and bake according to the directions on the package of crescent rolls. For a complete picture tutorial, check out the pin here: Mini Cinnamon Rolls.

The original pinner suggested icing the cinnamon rolls with a maple icing, but I think they go great with cream cheese icing. Particularly, the light, fluffy Cool Whip Cream Cheese Frosting that I wrote about a few days ago.
But, no matter what you top them with, these little cinnamon roll bites are absolutely delicious. And, it’s impossible to eat just one!
