I’m SMILING IT FORWARD™ because when my kids have been sick, seeing that first smile when they start to feel better always warms my heart. My family just recently got over a bout of flu that made its way through all four of us. And nothing makes taking care of a sick kid when you’re sick too better than a big smile! We have access to great healthcare and fantastic doctors that we love. But, not every child does. So, TYLENOL® has teamed up with Children’s Health Fund for the SMILING IT FORWARD™ campaign to help keep kids healthy everywhere.
When my kids are sick, TYLENOL® is the acetaminophen brand we choose to help lower their fever and reduce aches and pains. We have both Children’s TYLENOL® and Infant’s TYLENOL® in our medicine cabinet right now. I always keep some on hand just in case one of the boys comes down with something. TYLENOL® has been trusted by moms for over 50 years to bring back that cheesy “feel better” grin on a child’s face when their symptoms start to abate.
To help parents know the right thing to do when their child is sick, TYLENOL® has released a great set of Guidelines by Dr. Tanya Altmann. It has tips on how to help your child feel better, when to call the doctor, and how to make doctors visits a little easier so your little one’s smile comes back healthy and strong.
With SMILING IT FORWARD™, TYLENOL® is encouraging moms to share a photo that makes them smile. For every photo shared, TYLENOL® will donate $1 to Children’s Health Fund! For more than 25 years, Children’s Health Fund has deployed mobile medical clinics to underprivileged neighborhoods across the US so that families who don’t normally have access to high quality medical care can get the help they need.
I visited the website and shared a photo of the boys that makes me smile. I also shared it on my Facebook page to encourage my friends to participate in SMILING IT FORWARD™. The sharing process is simple and quick. So, stop by the site and share a smile to help raise money for Children’s Health Fund!
